On July 1 at 3:15 p.m., a white male suffered a puncture wound from an assailant near Seventh Street and West Maple Avenue. The attack was originally reported as a shooting, but new information reveals the victim had suffered a puncture wound, according to Police Chief Brian Attaway.
The victim was taken to OU Medical. At the time of writing, the condition of the victim is not known.
A release from the City of Duncan said that a person of interest has been detained. The Duncan Police Department is encouraging anyone that has any information to call the department at (580) 255-2112.
