The outgoing President pardoned most of his family along with Fauci, Milley, and Adam Schiff and all members of the J6 committee, bestowing guilt on them too. If you didn’t commit a crime why the pardon?
If this stands, a future president could pardon someone for whatever time he wants – would that person have a free pass to commit any crime? Who knows? Even if the mustachioed lipstick wearing people (that steal women’s dresses from airports) are gone, President Trump has a lot of cleanup work to do. If the orders he signed on the first day are an indication, the members of Congress and others will have to kick it into high gear to keep up. The hiring freeze and requiring federal workers to get back into their offices were two of my favorites.
The curious but unfortunate people around the Capitol building (January 6th) have been pardoned and unfortunately some were injured at the hands of prison guards. Others were sent to other states with no ID or cash so when they were released, they were stranded. Fortunately, the dragnet extended by the former regime didn’t capture people that may have said that President Trump was the first to be elected three times (since Roosevelt). They won’t have to fear getting taken prisoner any more. He also signed an order making it easier to deport foreign individuals on college campuses that are supporting terrorist organizations.
In Washington it appears that many programs that have expired etc. are still receiving money. The special (DOGE) group must find and get Congress to act to cut them. Our new officials should yell “Let’s Roll” and get going on reducing the size and cost of government.
In Chickasha, a letter recently surfaced to the Chickasha Municipal Authority and other organizations from an insurance carrier for their downtown park that states their policy doesn’t cover claims for copyright infringement etc. regarding the leg lamp in that park. The letter said the owner of the copyright for the leg lamp (Warner Brothers) claims copyright infringement and demands that the structure be removed and destroyed. In addition, it said Warner Brothers also demands that other trademarked images can’t be used. That letter was from October last year and took this long to surface. It is not presently known what actions are pending. It is unfortunate that situations like this occur when there are so many basic problems to be solved there.
Like in Washington, their city is still giving tax funds to organizations that should be named “Evaporate Dollars Completely” for pet projects. In the same manner as may happen in D.C., it may be time for a cleanup in that city too. Our readers will have to get involved in the upcoming city elections and yell Let’s Roll!
But first they have to find out who is willing to take on that job.
