A Friday night collision claimed the life of Max R. Galloway, 63, of Marlow following a collision near 2699 E. Osage Road approximately 1½ miles east of Duncan.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported that Galloway was driving a Polaris ATV and collided with a 1997 Mercury Cougar driven by Pamala R. Walls, 58 of Marlow.
Galloway was pronounced deceased on scene by Survival Flight EMS and transported by Oklahoma City Medical Examiner’s office to the Oklahoma City Medical Examiner’s Office in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Walls was transported by Survival Flight EMS to Duncan Regional Hospital in Duncan, and admitted in stable condition with head and trunk external injuries.
The report shows that the cause of the collision is under investigation by Trooper Taylor Bunting #230 of the Traffic Homicide Unit. Assisted by LT Eric Foster #101 of Troop G, Trooper Darin Carman #552, Trooper Kyle Keithley #752, Trooper Sheldon Glass #355 all of the Stephens County detachment of Troop G, assisted by Survival Flight EMS, Stephens County Sheriff’s Department, and Duncan Fire Department.
