ANADARKO- Louie Gabriel Norris, 19 years old, of Anadarko, had his first hearing on October 22, after being accused of choking and raping his underage ex-girlfriend and destroying some of her personal belongings.
October 20, Norris was taken into custody after his 16-year-old ex-girlfriend told the police of the events that took place the night before. She had told the officers she had planned to stay with him that night at his place. While in his room, she stated he had been drinking and that she also had a drink and smoked marijuana with him. It was when she laid down to sleep that things got frightening for the 16-year-old girl.
The probable cause affidavit states, Norris had sex with the underage girl without her consent and got very aggressive when he stopped, throwing clothes and other items at her. She stated he slapped her across her face and continued to viciously grab and choke her. The affidavit also states that the assault didn’t stop until his grandmother came into the room after he had broken the ex-girlfriend’s glasses and shattered her iPhone with a dumbbell. That was when she made her getaway and ran from Norris’ home.
According to the affidavit, Officer Jordan Tate, of the Anadarko PD, stated she had multiple injuries. She had proof of the assault on her neck, chest, right upper arm, and right knee, as well as the bump on her head.
Records indicate, at his Tuesday morning hearing in Caddo County District Court, Norris received felony charges of first-degree rape, domestic assault and battery by strangulation, and a misdemeanor count of malicious injury to property over $1,000. The rape charge is punishable by five years to life in prison.
Norris’ preliminary hearing in court will take place in January 2025, according to records.
