Collision with tree sends Blanchard man to hospital


 A one vehicle accident sent a Blanchard man man to OU Medical Center after his vehicle struck a tree one mile south of Blanchard in Grady County.
 According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol a 2002 Chevy Tahoe driven by Stanley J. Taylor, 66, of Blanchard, was southbound on County Street 2970 and departed the roadway east. The vehicle drove on the shoulder for approximately 125 feet and then struck a tree. He was transported by Chickasha EMS to OU Medical in Oklahoma City,and admitted with arm, leg, head, and trunk internal injuries.
 The Cause of Collision was listed as Driving while intoxicated.
 The incident was investigated by Trooper Jared Martinez #856 of the Grady County detachment of Troop G. Assisted by Trooper Zachary Wallis #736 of the Grady County Detachment of Troop G, Trooper Sooner Harmon #647 of Troop A, Chickasha EMS, Chickasha Fire Department, Grady County Fire Department, and Mcclain County EMS.
