Life Skills Institute (LSI), a program of Resurrection House, is a long-term, live-in educational facility. This unique, non-government, Christian residential living and program facility is available to individuals and families who have been dealing with struggles in life from getting out of financial devastation, homelessness, rehab, or any other lifestyle that requires help for a safe transition to real-life situations.
By offering a 1-2-year program in a private campus-style environment, LSI can work towards bridging the gap from homelessness to independent living and becoming a positive contributing member of mainstream society. Residents are required to pay an income-based program fee, and, in return, live in safe, structured, private apartment style housing. Residents participate in workshops and education to develop personal financial independence and other life skills. Additionally, daily meals are provided to ensure proper nutrition. A volunteer base leads life skills workshops helping residents to assimilate and manage real life situations outside of a shelter environment.
