Injured Ratliff City man walks 2 miles from collision for help


According to a report from the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, Collin K. Satterfield, 36 of Ratliff City, OK. walked from a collision scene to the Ratliff City Fire Department for assistance. He was transported by Air Evac from Ratliff City Fire Department to OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City, OK. and admitted in stable condition with trunk internal and head injuries.
 Satterfield was driving a 1996 Chevrolet pickup traveling eastbound on Delta Road on Friday, June 17 at approximately 12:30 pm when he experience a medical incident, departed the roadway to the right and struck a tree.
 The incident was investigated by Trooper Walter Jack #338 of the Carter/Love County detachment of Troop F. Assisted by Trooper Hayden Darst #447 of the Carter/Love County detachment of Troop F, Ratliff City Fire Department, Southern Oklahoma Ambulance Service and Air Evac.
