State and County election activity officially begins at 8 a.m., Wednesday April 13 when the filing period opens, the Secretary of the Caddo County Election Board said today.
Candidates for state offices file with the Secretary of the State Election Board. Candidates for county offices file with the Secretary of the County Election Board.
County offices on the ballot in most counties this year include County Commissioner District 1; County Commissioner District 3; County Assessor; and, County Treasurer.
Filing forms and information may be obtained by contacting the County Election Board in your county.
The Caddo County Election Board is located at the Caddo County Courthouse, 110 SW 2nd St, Ste 112, Anadarko, OK, and is open from 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
The Grady County Election Board is located at 307 W Pennsylvania Ave, Chickasha.
Filing packets for both state and county offices are also available for download on the State Election Board’s website at oklahoma.gov/elections.
The filing period closes at 5 p.m. Friday, April 15.
