Fletcher Woman Lost her Life in Motorcycle Accident


A 59 year old woman from Fletcher lost her life in a motorcycle accident on the H.E. Bailey Turnpike three miles south of Tuttle on Tuesday, September 28 at approximately 5:45 pm.
 According to a report from the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, a 2007 Harley Davidson driven by Philip W Hawk, 56, of Fletcher, Oklahoma was south bound on I-44 at mile marker 101, for an unknown reason the driver lost control of motorcycle causing it to depart the roadway to the right. The motorcycle came back up on to the roadway rolling over on to its side, throwing the driver an unknown distance while also pinning the passenger under the motorcycle for an unknown amount of time.
 The passenger, identified as : Terri Lynn Hawk, 59, of Fletcher, Oklahoma was already freed by an unknown individual by the time troopers were on the scene.
