Hillcrest collision claims 2 in Caddo County


 A collision on County Road 1130 in Caddo County 1 mile north and 5 miles east of Lookeba claimed two lives on Wednesday May 12 at approximately 8 am.
 According to Oklahoma Highway Patrol reports, a 1997 Dodge 3500 pickup driven by Shaun M.Tillman, 27 of Hinton was traveling eastbound on County Road 1130, while a 2015 Honda Accord driven by Gena L. Evans, 28 of Hinton was westbound on County Road 1130. They met on a hillcrest and the Dodge pickup struck the Honda in the westbound lane. Both vehicles came to rest in the roadway.
 Ms. Evans was transported by Alpha and Omega to the Medical Examiner’s Office in Oklahoma City, OK. She reportedly expired at the scene due to massive injuries and pronounced by Medic West EMS. Medical Examiner was Jim Delbridge.

 Another juvenile female of Ft. Cobb, 5, whose name was withheld in teh report was transported by Medic West EMS to OU Children’s Hospital in Oklahoma City, OK and admitted in fair condition with arm, trunk internal, and trunk external injuries.
 Tillman was transported by Medic West EMS to OU Hospital in Oklahoma City, OK. He was treated and released.
 Seatbelts were not in use in either of the vehicles according to the OHP report.
 The incident was investigated by Trooper Thomas Setters #647 of the Caddo County Detachment of Troop G. Assisted by Cpt Joe Williams #59 of Troop G, Lt Nathan Mackey #114 of Troop G, Trooper Tyler Shelby #619 of the Grady County Detachment of Troop G, Trooper Jason Riddle #944 of the Traffic Homicide Unit, Canadian County Sheriff’s Department, Caddo County Sheriff’s Department, Lookeba Fire Department, Hinton Fire Department Medic West EMS, Carnegie EMS, and Gracemont Fire Department.
