A Sterling man was admitted to OU Medical following a collision just north of Medicine Park in Comanche County.
 According to Oklahoma Highway Patrol reports the incident happened at 1:10 pm on Friday, April 23, 2021 when a 2002 Chevrolet driven by Elton Royce Ward, 73 of Elmer, Oklahoma pulled out in front of a southbound1986 Peterbilt driven by Joshua Lee Wood, 27 of Sterling on Highway US 62. Wood apparently over corrected departing the roadway into a ditch and rolling the truck 1¼ times. He was admitted to OUMC in good condition with head and trunk internal injuries. Ward was uninjured.
 The incident was investigated by Trooper Zachary Johnson #404 of the Comanche County detachment of Troop G. Assisted by Comanche County Sheriffs Office, Kirks EMS, and Porter Hill Fire Department.
