On the opening day of the filing period for Caddo County school boards, four candidates from separate schools cast their hats into the ring.
The filing period ends Wednesday, Dec. 4. The general election will be April 1 with primaries in February if more than three candidates file for the same position.
All of the 33 board of education openings in Caddo, Grady and Stephens counties are non-partisan.
