Grady County OHCE held a “Team Building Retreat” for its members at the Grady County Fairgrounds where several topics were presented for group interaction. Mary Parrish the Leadership Development chair was responsible for the days events. One topic included a discussion on the book Energy Bus which each participant had read. Tammy Watts, Grady County president, had furnished these books through a grant she wrote. She also introduced how to give an elevator speech and had each participant give one on what OHCE is all about. Then Liz Taylor the OSU extension 4H and youth Dev., CED presented “Real Colors “.
After lunch the group carpooled to the “Adventure Escape Room” located downtown Chickasha where members were separated into three groups to try and escape from their rooms in a designated time period. After returning to the fair grounds Riley DuBois OSU extension educator ended the day by going over OHCE parliamentary procedures.
