Hazel Louise (Harrington) Bryant

Hazel Louise (Harrington) Bryant was born on January 14, 1937, in Chickasha, Oklahoma, to Johnny Carl Harrington and Bertha Beatrice (Gaston) Harrington. She passed from this life on September 15, 2024, in Anadarko, Oklahoma, at 87.
Louise was a resident of Anadarko. She graduated from Casa Grande High School in
Arizona. She worked as a CMA at Silver Crest Manor for twenty-seven years until her retirement.
Louise married the love of her life Andrew Bryant on January 26, 1953, in Arizona. Together they had six children, Michael, Anita, Sherry, Andy, Carl, and Cody. They celebrated sixty-four years together before his passing in December 2017.
Louise was an avid lover of Elvis, she had many collectors’ items and enjoyed listening to his music. When she was able to would travel to Memphis, Tennessee to experience the Elvis Memorial at his mansion, Graceland. TV was her biggest pastime. She couldn’t go a day without her soap operas and every Sunday morning she would watch Jimmy Swaggart. Louise found companionship in her beloved fur baby, Wheezie after the passing of her husband.
Left to cherish the memory of Louise are her children, Michael Bryant of Anadarko, Anita Kelley of Anadarko, Sherry Bryant of Anadarko, Andy Bryant of Anadarko, and Cody Bryant of Anadarko, her ten grandchildren, Donna Reynolds, Michelle Kelley- Baldwin, Donnie Kelley, April Bryant, David Gray, Johnny Haddon, Charles Akoneto, Brooke Akoneto, Bradley Bryant, and Candace Bryant, her twenty-five great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
Louise is preceded in death by her parents, Johnny and Bertha Harrington, husband, Andrew Bryant, son, Carl Bryant, and great-granddaughter, Gracie Castaneda.
Visitation for Louise is set to be held from 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM, Wednesday, September 18, 2024, and 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM, Thursday, September 19, 2024, at the Smith Funeral Home Chapel.
A funeral service to honor the life of Louise began at 1:00 PM on September 19, 2024, at the Smith Funeral Home Chapel. She was laid to rest following the service at Memory Lane Cemetery in Anadarko, Oklahoma.
Services were under the direction of Smith Funeral Home in Anadarko, Oklahoma.
