Samuel Dewayne Delk, 46, passed away Wednesday, September 18, 2024, in Chickasha, Oklahoma.

Visitation was available to the public, from 12:00 PM until 8:30 PM, September 23, 2024, at the Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home in Marlow, Oklahoma.

Sammy was born Tuesday, November 8, 1977, in Chickasha, OK, to Samuel Hobart Delk and Shirley (McCoy) White. He attended Pioneer Schools and lived in the Grady County area all of his life. Sammy married the love of his life, Courtney, in Chickasha Oklahoma. Sammy enjoyed going fishing and hunting, and he loved spending time with his kids and grandkids and encouraging them. Sammy was a good-hearted person, and he was always willing to put others first. His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Survivors include his wife, Courtney Delk of the home, son, Samuel Dewayne Delk, Jr. of Ninnekah, daughters, Samantha Kay Gaitan and Osbin of Chickasha, and Trinity Ramsey of Chickasha, grandchildren, Kaylin Wade, Marcus Dewayne, and Zayden, father, Samuel Delk and Amelia of Ninnekah, mother, Shirley White and Johnny of Chickasha, brother, Joseph Brian Delk and Amy of Ninnekah, sister, Nancy Butler and Jeff of Chickasha, and several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles.

Sammy was preceded in death by his grandparents.
