A Duncan couple were killed Sunday, June 30, when the 2020 Harley Davidson they were riding hit a curve at high speed, turning the motorcycle over and sliding into a another vehicle.
Both Jackie D. Bryant, 41, and Elizabeth M. Bryant, 45, were pronounced dead at the scene by Survival Flight EMS
The Bryants were eastbound at 7:09 p.m. on a curve/turn on East 1770 Rd at North 2800 Rd about 2 miles south of Duncan when their motorcycle slid into a 2004 Chevrolet Tahoe driven by Morgan G. Strawn, 21, of Duncan. She was not injured.
The cause of the accident was listed by Oklahoma Highway Patrol Trooper Mason Lang as unsafe speed on a curve/turn. Helmets were not in use.
Lang was assisted at the scene by Lt. Destry Richardson, Trooper Amy Bell, the Stephens County Sheriff’s Office, Empire Fire Department and Survival Flight EMS.
