St Luke’s Episcopal Church is hosting its third annual “Art is for Everyone” show and sale from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., Friday and Saturday, June 7-8, at the Church, 6th, and Kansas in Chickasha. The show in the Parish Hall and Memorial Garden will feature works of members of the St. Luke’s congregation and the community at large.
An amazing array of works in oil, acrylic, metal sculpture, books, glass, wood, Lego, and other mediums will be on display with art for sale as well as gallery presentations. Among the artists who will be presenting their works are: Mike Pamplin, Debbye Bryner, John Moroney, Carol Kuhlman, Bob Powell, Jack Donnellan, Rhett Moroney, River Moroney, Reverend Susie Lindley, Ashlin Tryczach, Jeff Perriman, Mike Hixson, Helen Blevins, Gina Crosley, John Crump, Glenda Crump, Raoul Sotry, Fred Howell, Phyllis Maloney, Wes Hallmark, Adelynn Seat, Adelyson Seat, Terry McCarty, Dana Hensley McElroy and Jackie Brewer.
This will be the third year that St. Luke’s has presented “Art Is For Everyone.” The size of the 2024 show has nearly doubled in terms of exhibitors. Also, sidewalk art will be featured this year. Guests are invited to enjoy wine, cheese, soft drinks and hors d’oeuvres. A jazz pianist will be providing background music for the show.
