Personal Injury collision occurred 1-29-2024 at approximately 0630 hours on I35 northbound at 12^th street,  Moore, Cleveland County, Oklahoma.  

Vehicle-1: 2012 Chevrelot Silverado, driven by Ryan Christy (SIC), white male, 24 years of age, of Luther, OK. Not injured. 

Vehicle-2: 2016 Volvo Semi, driven by Jose Escobedo (SIC), white male, 22 years of age, of Oklahoma City, OK. Not injured. 

Vehicle-3:  2020 Dodge Ram, driven by Darrel Masters (SIC), white male, 47 years of age, of Oklahoms City, Ok. Not injured. 

Vehicle-4: 2023 Ford Transit Van, driven by Dennis Childress (SIC), white male, 46 years of age, of Del City, OK. Transported by EMSTAT to OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City. Admitted in good condition with head injuries. 

Vehicle-5: 2021 Ford F150, driven by Anthony Williams (SIC), white male, 24 years of age, of Oklahoma City, OK. Not injured.  

Vehicle-6: 2004 Subaru Forester, driven by Katelyn Higgins (SIC), white female, 24 years of age, of Moore, OK. Not injured.  

What Happened: Vehicle-1 and Vehicle-2 were southbound on I-35. Vehicle-3, Vehicle-4,  Vehicle-5, and Vehicle-6 were northbound on I-35. Vehicle-1 lost a tire. Vehicle-2 struck the tire, causing the tire to jump the median. Vehicle-3 struck the tire, Vehicle-4 was impacted in the windshield by the tire, and then Vehicle-5 and Vehicle-6 struck the tire. 

Condition of Driver Vehicle of all Vehicles Apparently normal 

Cause of Collision – Equipment failure by Vehicle-1 

Seatbelts – Equipped; In Use by All, Weather – Clear, Roadway – Dry’ Pinned – None.

Ejected – None, Helmet – N/A
