A fatality collision occurred on Sunday, January 21 at approximately 6 pm, on N 2990 Rd. ½ of a mile south of OK-7, ½ of a mile south of Velma, in Stephens County.
 According to Oklahoma Highway Patrol reports a 1999 Dodge pickup, driven by Leo T. Bailey, 72, of Duncan, was pronounced deceased on the scene. He was transported by Southern Plains Mortuary to the Medical Examiners office in Oklahoma City.
 Troopers are investigating the incident that happened on wet roadways and drizzling rain.
 The investigation is being handled by Trooper Sheldon Glass #355 of the Stephens County detachment of Troop G. Assisted by Trooper Kyle Keithley #752, Stephens County SO, Velma FD, Velma PD and Velma EMS.
