Chickasha truck driver uninjured in collision


 Inattentive Driving was listed as the probable cause of a collision in Garvin County that injured a Wynnewood man.
 The Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported that on Wednesday, October 4 at approximately 112:47 pm that a 2015 Buick Encore, driven by Samuel Rigsby, 44 of Wynnewood was traveling northbound in the inside lane on I-35 when a 2001 Freightliner, driven by Tracy Johnson, 59 of Chickasha, was merging onto I-35 from the outside lane. Rigsby went to pass a vehicle and struck 2001 Freightliner in the rear.
 Rigsby was transported by Mercy EMS to Pauls Valley Hospital and later Flown by AirEvac to OU Medical in Oklahoma City, Ok. He was admitted in stable condition with head injuries. The driver of the Freightliner was not injured.
 The incident was investigated by Trooper Kurry Stucks #738 of the Garvin/Murray Detachment of Troop F. Assisted by Mercy EMS, AirEvac, Pauls Valley Fire Department, and Garvin County Sheriffs Office.
