Mack Truck Roll-over sends Lindsay driver to hospital


 The Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported that 2012 Mack semi, driven by Raymond D. Palmer, 39, of Lindsay, OK. was eastbound on east 1730 road in Stephens County when the vehicle departed the roadway to the left on a curve to the right. The driver then took evasive action and swerved right causing the vehicle to roll approximately 2.5 times before coming to rest on its passenger side. Palmer was transported by Air Evac to OU Medical in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and admitted in stable condition with head and internal trunk injuries.
 The incident happened on Tuesday, October 3rd at approximately 10:30 pm, on east 1730 road and north 2930 road, approximately 8 miles northwest of Velma, Oklahoma
 The cause of the collision was listed as speed, the condition of the driver is under investigation by Trooper Darin Carman #552 of the Stephens County Detachment of Troop G. Assisted by Trooper Luke Norton #591 of Troop G, Trooper Brad Mitchell #341 of Troop S, Velma Fire Department, Velma EMS, Stephens County Sheriff’s Office and Air Evac.
