Charles H. Pinezaddleby was born on November 25, 1950 in Lawton, Oklahoma to William Pinezaddleby and Geneva Spottedcrow. He was called home by the Lord on Saturday, September 30, 2023 in Lawton, Oklahoma at the age of 72.
Charles grew up in the Anadarko and Wichita, Kansas areas. While in Kansas he studied piano and became an accomplished pianist. He played for many funerals, birthdays and different gatherings. He took great pride in playing and could literally make the piano sing.
He graduated from Broxton High School and after graduation he joined the U.S Navy on May 28, 1970.
Charles took the culinary arts class at the Caddo Kiowa Technology Center in Fort Cobb. He was known to put together several tasty dishes.
Charles was such a fun loving man to be around. He loved to talk to people and always had a great story to tell. He was fun to be with and such a clown. With a big smile on his face, a warm handshake and a contagious laugh sums up what a moment was like to be in his presence. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Charles is preceded in death by parents; brother, William H, Pinezaddleby Jr.; sister, Catherine J. Pinezaddleby and Horace and Mattie Pinezaddleby, the ones who raised him.
Left to cherish his memory is his sister, Rose Janec of Monroe, Utah; nieces, Charlene Pinezaddleby and Paulene Whitney Howard; nephews, Jack Janec and Howard Janec; cousins: John D. Pinezaddleby of Lawton, Mary Anne Zumwalt of Anadarko, Mary Oyebi of Anadarko, Homer Flute of Apache; grandchildren: Andrew and Brandon Whitney along with other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M., Thursday, October 5, 2023 in the Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Anadarko. Rev. Thomas Worcester will officiate. Burial will follow in the Saddle Mountain Cemetery in Mountain View, Oklahoma.
