CHICKASHA, Okla. – November 15, 2022 – The Chickasha Police Department responded to
disturbance call at 3015 Westbrook at 12:30 PM this afternoon. When Officers arrived, they found
the suspect had forced his way into the home and was shot by the homeowner. The suspect died at
the scene.
The suspect has been identified as Varnell W. Tall Jr. The homeowner has been identified as
Logan M. Wasson.
The cause and nature of the disturbance is still under investigation.
