Friday Night Lights

by Conner Black, CTCN Sports Correspondant

Friday night Rush Springs took on Mangum at home. It has been a slow start to the season with the Redskins being 0-3 after losing by 1(35-34) on the 9th. But not all is bad because on paper these stats look great.
Quarterback Jacob Caveness threw for 99 yards and rushed for 154 totaling 253 yards with one touchdown. Running back Ayden Stamper ran in three touchdowns on the night. Wyatt Foster, the other running back, also ran in a touchdown. On the defensive end Justice Cooper had one interception.
The Redskins have a bye this week, then next week will face off against Ringling at home. Good Luck the rest of the season fellas!
