Chickasha Chamber Presents ‘Deck the Streets’ Business Holiday Window Contest


CHICKASHA, Okla. (Nov 23) – The Chickasha Chamber of Commerce is celebrating Christmas with an inaugural ‘Deck the Streets’ business holiday window decorating contest. All businesses in the Chickasha city limits are encouraged to enter.
“This is a great way to show off your community pride and spread cheer throughout the holiday season,” commented Cassandra Robnett, CEO and President of the Chickasha Chamber of Commerce.
Businesses looking to participate are asked to decorate their store front and email office@chickashachamber.com their business name and a photo of their business for judging.
Decorations on store fronts could include lights, paint, lighted displays, animated figures, etc. but must be visible from the street. It will be the responsibility of all businesses to adhere to Chickasha laws and ordnances.
The entry fee is $10 for participating businesses. Judging will be decided by the community through likes or reactions on business pictures posted on the Chamber’s Facebook page. The deadline for business entries is December 6 th .
The ‘Deck the Streets’ winner will determine what local non-profit the funds, raised through the entry fee, will be awarded. The Chamber will tally the votes and announce the winner December 10 th .
