Lenora Ann Eskew, 73, passed away on Wednesday August 17, 2021 in Anadarko, OK.
She was born on March 13, 1948 in Fort Cobb, OK to Wanda Adeline (Turney) and Lyle Gillis.
She grew up in the Fort Cobb/Carnegie area and attended Carnegie Public School. She was a member of Square Top Baptist Church. She worked as the head cook for the Fort Cobb-Broxton Public School. She spent her later years of retirement taking care of her pride and joy Amberly Eskew. She was an accomplished seamstress, who loved making Halloween costumes for her grandchildren. She also enjoyed gardening, crocheting and taking care of her chickens, pigs and dog Ally. Her greatest enjoyment in life was spending time with her family, especially her kids, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Six Grandchildren: Forrest Abbott and wife, Rya of Lawton, OK, Alex Wilson and Briana of Weatherford, OK, Austin Maguire and Allison of Tulsa, OK, Samantha Wilson and Aaron of Fort Cobb, OK, Christian Eskew and Dalton of Carnegie, OK and Shane Eskew of Fort Cobb, OK.
Great-Grandchildren: Lukas, Myla, Roman, Indie and Harlow Abbott, Irelynn Wilson, Ray-Lynn Yeahpau, Amberly Eskew, Bentley and Ryker Cook.
Two Sisters: Leota Yarbrough and husband Jerry, of Moore, OK
Louise Montieth, of Carnegie, OK
Numerous nieces and nephews and other relatives
She was preceded in death by her parents Lyle and Wanda Gillis, two sisters Lonna Gillis and Donna White, one brother Doug Gillis and her beloved son Jack Eskew.
