Abbie Lynne “Autaubo” Cox, 59, passed away on June 30, 2021, in Edmond, OK. She was born December 9, 1961, in Lawton, OK to Vester L. Autaubo Sr. and Claudette Yvonne (Daingkau) Autaubo.
Abbie grew up in the Carnegie area. She graduated from Carnegie High School and attended a few semesters at USAO College in Chickasha, OK. Abbie was a proud member of the Kiowa tribe and Gospel Lighthouse Church.
She was married to Steven Cox on January 21, 2006, at Cedar Creek Church in Carnegie OK. She worked in home care. She lived in Verden, OK since 2003.
Abbie had a way of taking care of and keeping everyone in line. She loved her morning coffee from McDonald’s and spending time with her grandchildren. Abbie love crocheting, making Indian shawls, and walking in the park.
She is preceded in death by her: parents, Vester and Claudette Autaubo; brother, Henry Autaubo; Aunt Phyllis & Larry Kotay; sister, Martha Autaubo; Daughter, Claudette Hedrick; Son, Timothy Haunpo & Nephew, Phillip Autaubo
She is survived by her: Husband, Steven Cox, of the home, Verden, OK
