The City of Chickasha reminds the community that it is illegal to offer for sale, sell at retail, use, or explode any fireworks within the City limits by city ordinance.
 The Chickasha Police and Fire Departments will work together to address unauthorized fireworks discharged in Chickasha over the coming July 4th holiday.
 Depending on the type of violation, potential fines vary between $100 – $200 per incident. Additionally, any fireworks found when investigating complaints of fireworks being discharged may be seized, along with or separate from a fine.
