The Oklahoma State University South Central Research Station will be hosting a Wheat Field Day on April 30th.
Dr. Amanda Silva, OSU small grains extension specialist, will be show casing the wheat variety trials and explaining their traits.
Dr. Brett Carver, OSU wheat breeding extension specialist, and Dr. Bob Hunger, OSU extension wheat pathologist, will be discussing wheat breeding and giving a disease update.
Dr. Brian Arnall, OSU precision nutrient management extension specialist, will be speaking on nutrient management.
All that grow wheat for grain as well as forage for livestock are encouraged to attend. The program will start at 9:00 am. For more information please contact the Grady County OSU Extension office at 405-224-2216.
