A Rush Springs woman was admitted to Duncan Regional Hospital in fair condition with arm injuries following a one car accident 13 miles east of Bray.
According to Oklahoma Highway Patrol reports, a 2013 Chevrolet Spark driven by Cary D. Darr, 49, hit a fence and rolled ½ time. The drives said she dropped her medication and unbuckled her seat belt and reached down to get it. She felt herself drifting off the roadway to the left and then hit a fence and the vehicle rolled.
The incident happened at approximately 8:30 am on OK-29 at N 3020 Road.
The report list distraction inside the vehicle as the cause of the accident. Seatbelts were not in use.
The incident was investigated by Trooper Mason Lang #871 of the Stephens County detachment of Troop G and assisted by Stephens County Sheriff’s Department, AMR, and Bray Doyle Fire Department
