This week the Grady County Fairgrounds will be busy hosting the 2021 Southwest District Livestock Show.
Hundreds of 4H and FFA members from clubs and chapters across southwest Oklahoma will meet at the Grady County Fairgrounds for the Southwest District Livestock Show where they will show sheep, goats, hogs, and cattle.
The Southwest District Livestock Show is open to any 4-H and FFA member age 9-18 in the Southwest Agricultural Education District in Oklahoma.
Counties in the Southwest District include: Beckham, Caddo, Canadian, Comanche, Cotton, Custer, Grady, Greer, Harmon, Jackson, Kiowa, Roger Mills, Tillman and Washita.
2,000 or more animals could be exhibited during the event that began Tuesday and continues through Saturday, February 13. Top exhibitors could receive up to $1,000 for their entry.
