Mable Lou (Hall) Kinsey was born July 17, 1928, in Apperson, Oklahoma to Lloyd James Hall and Juanita T. (Williams) Hall. She passed from this life on Monday, November 4, 2024, in Moore, Oklahoma.

Mable grew up in the Anadarko/Gracemont area and graduated from Anadarko High School in 1947. She went on to get a degree in nursing at the NW Texas School of Nursing.

On June 8, 1949, she married James Dee Kinsey in Wichita Falls, Texas and they shared 54 years together until his passing in 2003.

Mable and J. D. moved all over the Western states for the first six years of their life together, then they settled in Pampa, Texas for a time. They moved to Perryton, Texas for nine years before moving back to Pampa.

Mable worked as a nurse in many of the places they lived. She retired in 1988 and they moved back to Chickasha to be close to their grandchildren. She was a strong woman of faith and attended Pampa Bible Church and for the last 20 years of her life, she enjoyed the ministry of Shepherd Chapel.

Her life revolved around her faith and nursing. She also liked to watch big band shows, such as The Lawrence Welk Show and others. She was a leader and very straightforward. Her home always had coffee, ice cream, and food. She would make sure anyone who came over was fed. She enjoyed listening to her daughter Annita read to her.

Kinsey; brother and sister-in-law Freddie and Elsie Hall; sister-in-law and brother-in-law Wanda and Donald Shadoan; brothers-in-law Willie Joe Kinsey and Albert Kinsey; and niece Donna Shadoan.
