LeAnn grew up mostly in Chickasha and attended Chickasha schools.

She was a bit ornery. She helped Dennis with the cars in the shop and learned to sand them and upholstered many of them. She was devoted to her grandkids and babysat them at one time or another.
She was preceded in death by her father Shorty Soulier, her mother Vera Runnels, and her husband Dennis in January 2024.
Loved ones left to remember her are her son and daughter-in-law Eric and Cindy Akins of Chickasha; daughter and son-in-law Renee and Darrel Nieto of Chickasha; two sisters Judy Smith of Inola and Joan Judd of Round Rock, Texas; grandchildren Tommy Brown and wife Summer, Chance Akins, Carson Akins and fiancée Jaylee, Abigail Williams and husband Corey, and Danielle Mitchell; five great-grandchildren; and other extended family and friends.
