OBITUARIES

Robert “Bobby” Fritz

November 4, 1973 – October, 2024

A memorial service for Robert “Bobby” Fritz will be held by the family at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 12, 2024, in the Parkview Christian Church.

Bobby was a simple man, who enjoyed the simple things in life. On November 4, 1973, he was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma and at 4 years old he was adopted into a large, loving, God-fearing, Christian family by Norman and Alice Fritz.

He grew up in Chickasha, attended Chickasha High School, and carried Chickasha Pride loudly.

Bobby loved many things. He loved the holidays, especially the 4th of July. He loved fishing and watching OU football with his dad. He loved grilling and cooking. He loved what Chickasha had to offer…the Festival of Light and Chickasha Chick Football. He loved singing in the shower, you could always hear him all the way across the house. He loved heavy metal music and enjoyed artists like Metallica, AC/DC, and Lynard Skynard. He loved to talk and share his ideas and always had something deep and philosophical to say. He could simply talk for hours about the most interesting things.

Bobby had a way of looking at things in a positive light and always could see the good in people. He loved riding his bike, exploring the town, and investing his time in his many hobbies. He loved spending time with and focusing on his family. Bobby Fritz was a strong, kind soul that took care of his friends. He was a son, brother, uncle, and friend who is deeply loved and will be greatly missed.

Despite the trials and tribulations Bobby faced in his life, he always managed to have a laugh that could fill the room and a smile that would make you smile. Most importantly, he had a determination and drive to keep going and bettering himself day after day.

Note to Bobby:

Bobby, you are and will always be loved. We pray you look down on us and bless us with your optimism. We pray you are in Heaven singing all your favorite songs and having the best time. We pray God reminds you of how much you mean to us. We love you Bobby Fritz and know you will never forget that. We miss you. Your soul and your memory will live on with us forever!

Bobby was preceded in death by his mother Alice Fritz, brother Millard Russell Fritz, and uncle C.B. Fritz.

Loved ones left to remember him are his father Norman Fritz of Chickasha; sisters Orie Baxter and husband Wendell of Norman, Therese Bell and husband Micah of Goldsby, Stacie Kirkland and husband Scott of Chickasha, Cassandra (Bard) Fritz of Chickasha, Barbara Livingston of Woodward; brother John Jordan of Buffalo; friend Spencer of Norman; eleven nieces and one nephew; five great-nieces with one on the way and seven great-nephews; one great-great niece; and many other extended family and friends.
