Treva Gayle Hamilton, lovingly known as “Treva Diva,” passed away on 09/03/24 at the age of 34. Born on 02/04/1990 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Treva was a beloved daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, cousin, godmother, and friend who brightened the lives of everyone she met. Treva’s laugh was contagious, her smile unforgettable, and her presence a constant source of light and love. She lived a life full of joy and sparkle, embracing each day with the fierce spirit of a true diva.
Treva had a passion for all things glamorous. Her love for fashion and glitter was unmistakable, and she had an eye for picking out the perfect outfits, accessories, and anything that shimmered. Purple was her signature color, and her wardrobe reflected her vibrant personality. Treva’s shopping sprees were legendary, and she loved nothing more than a new piece of jewelry or the perfect purse to complete her look. She often would sneak in just one more item with her signature pout lip—a look everyone knew and adored.
Treva’s adventurous spirit came alive during her time competing in the Special Olympics, one of her favorite places to be. She found joy in the camaraderie and competition, surrounded by others who embraced her for exactly who she was. She also loved bowling, taking great pride in her league nights, where she connected with friends and enjoyed every moment. Treva thrived on the feeling of freedom during her strolls by Chickasha Lake and at Shannon Springs Park, where she found peace and happiness.
Her days were filled with simple pleasures that brought her immense joy—watching her favorite shows like Lilo and Stitch, SpongeBob, Barney, and Barbie, which reflected her playful and spirited nature. Treva lived with her parents until moving into a Daily Living Service house, where she formed close bonds with her roommates and dedicated staff who became like family. Her goddaughter Allison was her pride and joy, and Treva loved her deeply, cherishing every moment they spent together.
Treva was a social butterfly with a flair for making everyone feel special. She had a playful side that often shined through when she interacted with people, always ready to share a laugh, offer a smile, or light up at the sight of a friendly face.
Treva’s flirtatious personality was a source of endless smiles; she never missed a chance to charm a handsome man. Her charm and charisma were unparalleled, and her diva personality ensured she was always the star of the show.
Treva is survived by Kim Beach, Frank Beach, Emily Beach, and a loving community of friends and caregivers who will forever hold her memory close. She leaves behind a legacy of resilience, joy, and a diva spirit that will continue to inspire those who knew her.
