Ralph was known for his quick-witted humor, generosity, and his light-hearted banter. Above all, he loved his Lord and was a faithful servant. He cared deeply for his family, friends, and neighbors, not out of obligation, but out of love. In 1957 Ralph graduated from Ninnekah High School where he was active in the F.F.A. He won the Governor’s Trophy for Outstanding F.F.A. Member of Oklahoma and was selected Star Farmer of Oklahoma that same year. He received the Honorary State F.F.A. Degree in 1995. Ralph followed in his father’s footsteps. Jimmy, Ralph’s son, followed suit. Ralph owned and operated Morgan Cattle Company.  He was awarded the State Environmental Stewardship Award of 2001 in recognition of his hard work and standard of excellence. From 1971 to 1988, Ralph served as co-owner of Southwest Dairy Sales, an auction company that covered a five-state area. Ralph’s community service was extensive. He served on the Ninnekah School Board, Ninnekah Rural Water Board, Grady County Cattlemen’s Association, Oklahoma Cattlemen’s Association, Grady County Farm Bureau Board, and Grady County Fair Board. Additionally, he served 30 years on the Grady County Conservation Board where he retired in 2011. His service left an impact on his community and the state. Ralph was an avid supporter of Ninnekah School athletics, F.F.A., and 4-H. He served 30 years on the Grady County Junior Livestock Show Committee raising funds for 4-H and F.F.A. members who made the premium sale. Ralph was a director at First National Bank and Trust for 19 years. He was also a 32-degree Mason and Past Master of the Chickasha Masonic Lodge.

Ralph Morgan was predeceased by his father, James Thomas Morgan, his mother, Ruby Hazel Morgan, his sister, Wanda Maxine Ball Ochis, and a Grandson Braylon Morgan.
