A Funeral Mass for Kenneth Andrew Ehli, Sr.,74, of Thornton, Colorado was held Saturday, August 3, 2024, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Ann’s Catholic Church located at 8492 State Hwy 17 in Elgin, Oklahoma with Father Linh Bui officiating.

Kenneth Andrew Ehli was born September 5, 1949, in Dodge, North Dakota the son of John Ehli and Selma Wittmayer Ehli. He passed away on July 24, 2024, at his home in Colorado surrounded by his family.

Ken grew up in Dodge, North Dakota where he graduated from Dodge High School in 1967. Later Carolyn and Ken moved to Yukon and Moore, Oklahoma. Ken then joined the United States Army, where he served in the Vietnam War.

Later in life, Ken was employed as a mail carrier for several years.  In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, taking care of the family dogs, chatting with friends and family, and always working to stay busy.

Ken was preceded in death by both of his parents; his wife Carolyn Ehli; two brothers, Ronald Ehli and Robert Ehli; and an infant sister Darlene Ehli.

Loved ones left to remember Ken are his son Kenny Ehli Jr. and Ken’s sister Charlene Rushing. 

Viewing for Ken was held Friday, August 2, 2024, at Ferguson Funeral Home in Chickasha from 1:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.

Burial was held in the Sterling Cemetery under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
