Lewis Wayne Roller


Lewis Wayne Roller was born on December 12, 1964 in Chickasha, Oklahoma, the son of Jim Roller and Mary Ann Klimkowski Roller. He died on Thursday, December 16, 2021 in Oklahoma City surrounded by his family.
 Funeral services for Lewis Wayne Roller, 57, of Chickasha, were held Tuesday, December 21, 2021 in the Holy Name Catholic Church with Father Mike Wheelahan officiating and Jason Hicks and Stacy Carpenter assisting.
 Lewis grew up in Chickasha where he graduated from Chickasha High School in 1983.
 After High School, he entered the Chickasha Police Academy where he followed in his father’s footsteps and dedicated his life to a thirty-five-year law enforcement career.
 In 1985 Lewis married Kelley Franklin and from this union Shelby and Tyler were born.
 When not working in law enforcement Lewis loved to spend time tinkering and piddling in his shop. He also took great pride in perfecting his yard, studying and reading about the history of Chickasha, and back roading.
 In December 2004, Leslie and Lewis were united in marriage and they shared seventeen years together.
 Every year Lewis looked forward to the annual trip to Florida with Leslie where they would walk on the beach. Lewis also enjoyed spending time at the lake, attending his grandchildren’s sporting events and it was known by his children that if they ever needed anything Dad would always help!
 He was preceded in death by his father Jim Roller.
 Survivors include his wife Leslie of Ninnekah; daughter and son-in-law Shelby and Ryan Hightower of Moore; son and daughter-in-law Tyler and Ashley Roller of Chickasha; four grandchildren, mother, Mary Ann Roller; brothers and sisters-in-law James and Pam Roller of Cherry Valley, California and Steve and Maria Roller of Flatonia, Texas; nephews Alex Roller of Deer Park, Texas; Christopher Roller of Cherry Valley, California; and his two fur babies Jack and Morgan.
 Memorial contributions can be made to Friends Fur Change, 2243 N. Sooner Road, Chickasha, OK 73018.
 The services and the cremation arrangements to follow are under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
