OBITUARIES

Floyd Kevin Hair

Memorial service for Kevin Hair, 65, of Chickasha, OK will be held at 2:00pm, Saturday, November 13, 2021 at the Southern Oaks Church of Christ in Chickasha.

Floyd Kevin Hair was a well loved father, son and brother. He was such a good brother-in-law that he just had to be called “brother.”  He never met a stranger and could talk the ear off of anyone he met.  He liked to talk about cars and fishing, but most of all he liked talking about his kids and grandkids.  He spoke often of how proud of them he was. Of all the things he was proud of and the things he loved, he loved to be called Grandpa. One of the most important things Kevin expressed through his love of conversation is that he loved his fellow man. Kevin believed in God and followed His plan of salvation. Kevin was a kind man who would give you the shirt off his back, even if it was his last shirt.  He never said no to anyone. Kevin was a friend to everyone he met and was fiercely loyal.  He was an artisan who was greatly skilled at his work. He loved the outdoors and his dream was to retire to the lake, fishing and spending time with his kids and grandkids for the rest of his life.

Kevin was preceded in death by his grandparents Alton and Alma Carter and James and Alice Hair; his father Jerry Hair and his grandson Joseph Sean Hair.

Kevin is survived by his mother AnnaBelle Hair of Chickasha, OK; brother Randy Hair and wife Kay of Norman, OK; sister Cheryl Mantooth and husband Kenneth of Tipton, OK; mother of his children, Kelly Hair of Chickasha, OK; son Isaac Hair of Chickasha, OK; daughter Shauna Ross and husband Jon of Castle Rock, CO; son Kyle Hair and wife Kassie of Castle Rock, CO; son Wade Hair and wife Krystle of Weatherford, OK; four grandkids Aubrey Hair, Noah Ross, Joslyn Hair and Gavin Hair along with several nieces and nephews.
