Francisco Alonso Rodriguez, 83, of Anadarko, OK passed away Sunday, October 24, 2021, at St John Medical Center in Tulsa, OK. He was born May 11, 1938 in Aguascalientes, Mexico to Juan Alonso Lopez and Petra Rodriguez, he was raised in Chihuahua, Mexico.
On January 25,1964 he married Lydia Adame, the love of his life. They had two children, Luz Elena Araujo and Julieta Fitch. In 1978 they moved to Anadarko, OK. Francisco worked at the Golden Peanut Company for more than 25 years. He also mowed yards as a side job, up until about two years ago. Francisco enjoyed sitting in his recliner watching “Novelas”, going to yard sales, being outside and maintain his yard.
Francisco was the sweet, hardworking and silent type. He loved his family and grandchildren very much. He had many friends that often referred to him as, “Don Panchito”.
He is preceded in death by his: parents, Juan Lopez, and Petra Rodriguez; wife, Lydia Alonso; brother, Luis Alonso; grandparents.
Francisco is survived by his daughters: Luz and husband, Raul Araujo, Anadarko, OK and Julieta Fitch, Anadarko, OK, 8 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, brother, Ramon Alonso Rodriquez,
sisters: Vicenta Alonso Rodriguez, Nicolasa Alonso Rodriguez, as well as numerous special nieces, nephews, and godchildren.
Funeral service was held on Friday, October 29,2021, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Anadarko, OK. Graveside service was at Memory Lane Cemetery, Anadarko, OK under the direction of Ray and Martha’s Funeral Home, Anadarko, OK
