The Greek word in the KJV for concern is the same word for worry, but there is a big difference between the two. To me, worry is a concern that has gotten out of hand! When we get concerned and worried about things that we have no control over, it’s time to turn it over to God. You know-cast your cares upon Him. How do we do that? It takes four things: reading your bible, praying, trusting God, and being obedient to His Word. I wrote a little poem about the subject; I hope that it encourages you and lifts you up today.
I’m gonna read my bible,
then I’m gonna pray,
Gonna trust in the Lord,
then I’m gonna obey!
And when I get through
I can surely say
I ain’t got no reason
to worry today.
Believing His Word,
getting answers to prayer,
Trusting my Savior,
old Satan won’t dare
To try and attack me
cause he knows who I am.
I’m a child of the King,
and safe in God’s hand!!
Have a blessed day in His Word, Love, and Power
