Colton Dewin Wright


Funeral services for Colton Dewin Wright, 22, of Cement, will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at the Cement High School Auditorium with Mark Carpenter officiating. 

Colton Dewin Wright was born January 9, 1999 in Chickasha, Oklahoma, the son of Joshua Dewin Wright and Amy Eileen Wright. He passed away on January 18, 2021 in Cement, Oklahoma. 

Colton attended Chickasha Schools from Headstart until the 3rd grade, he then went to Cement Schools, graduating in 2017. 

When he was younger, Colton played pee wee football and he enjoyed playing basketball. He loved hanging out with his friends and loved playing video games. He would help those in need and liked making people laugh. Colton loved spending time with his daughter Landry. He was deeply loved and will be greatly missed. 

He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents Winford Dewin Wright and Leta Mae Wright, Alonzo “Bud” Nelson and Emma Jean Nelson; Raymond Kennell and Opal Kennell; grandfather Stanley Ray Kennell; and great-uncle Winford Eugene Wright. 

Survivors are his daughter Landry Coltlynn Wright; parents Josh and Amy Wright of Cement; sister Payge Mahan and husband Brayden of Cyril; grandmother Tina “Nanny” Fisher of Cement; grandparents Karen “Memaw” Schmidt and husband Lindon “Shep” of Ninnekah; grandparents Alan “Papa” Fisher and wife Tracey of Sayre; uncle Jamie Kennell and wife Kristi of Williamsburg, Virginia; aunts Tera Glassey and husband David of Chickasha and Sonya Eakins of Chickasha; cousins Mikayla, Taryn, Henry, Desi, Matthew and Rayne as well as many other cousins, family and friends. 

Interment will be in Greenhill Cemetery located in Lindsay, Oklahoma under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
