Light or Darkness 

The life of Jesus is like a double sided coin. On one hand He is the Son of Man; on the other hand He is the Son of God, and both sides are valid because Jesus was completely both at the same time!! In the Gospel of John, his purpose is very clear: to explain and show the side of Jesus that was “the Son of God”. Being very evangelistic, the Gospel of John revolves around the miracles and the “I am” statements of Christ!! John set forth the deity of Christ to stir up believing faith in our Lord.
One of the most famous scriptures from the bible is of course John 3:16 where our Lord said, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. He also spoke in verses 3:18-21 about living in Light or Darkness. Paraphrased it says, “If you believe in Jesus and live in His Light, you are not condemned: But if you do not believe in Jesus, you are condemned already because you do not believe in the name of the only begotten Son of God, Jesus Christ. And this is the condemnation, that Light (Jesus Christ) has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than the Light, because their deeds were evil and did not line up with the Word of God. Every one that does wrong hates the Light, and neither comes to the Light because his deeds would be exposed. But he that does good comes to the Light, that his deeds are made known, and are worked in God”!!!
Believing and living in the Light of God’s truth or believing and dying in the darkness of Satan’s lies is a choice. I pray you have chosen wisely.
