The Chickasha Christmas Tour of Homes will be held this Saturday, December 7th. Four homes and two business properties are featured on this year’s tour.
The Tour is a fundraiser for the Ressurection House a homeless shelter in Chickasha.
The Tour and veiwing of the homes and properties will be from 10 am. to 2 pm Saturday and include the homes of:
• Marilyn Lawson; 1110 South 8th Street
• Joann Hames; 35 Village Drive
• Virginia Ramsey; 3311 Pondridge Road
• Josh & Jaime Evans; 1402 West Kansas
and, two longtime local business properties that have undergone ownership and management changes and refurburshing. Those are:
• Bushwood Country Club; 2900 South 16th Street
• Chickasha Hotel Lobby/1 Unit; 102 North 2nd Street
Tickets are $10 each and can be purchased at any home on the tour. Also, tickets can be purchased from: Carolyn Kay’s Flowers, Casbah Hair Salon, Creme De La Creme, First National Bank, Hairy’s Salon, Handyman Home Outlet, Jay’s Jewelry, Kendall’s Flowers, Liberty National Bank, and the Mosley Agency.
Bushwood Golf and Country Club
Bushwood Golf and Country Club, formerly the Chickasha Country Club, was originally opened in 1915 and hosted numerous tournaments including the Washita Valley Golf Tournament, the longest running tournament in the State of Oklahoma.
The course features some of the best greens in the state and is considered one of the best nine-hole courses.
Bushwood offers a full-service Pro Shop, club and bar, a banquet hall with a ballroom and a pool. Currently the facility is constructing two Pickleball
Courts to compliment the Tennis Courts.
Bushwood is open to the public and offers several different levels of membership for singles, couples, families, senior and corporations.
