14 Year old loses life in rollover near Bray


A Duncan teenager lost her life in a single vehicle rollover crash near Bray on Monday. The name of the victim was withheld.
 The Oklahoma Highway Patrol said a 2008 Pontiac driven by a 16 year old male juvenile was traveling east on Renfrow Road, failing to stop at a stop sign on Monday about 3:15 pm. The accident occurred approximately ¼ mile west of the intersection or Renfrow Road and Clearcreek Road,1½ miles west and 1 mile south of Bray.
The driver lost control, departing the roadway to the left, rolling an undetermined amount of times. The driver was transported by Survival Flight EMS to Duncan Regional and was treated and released with trunk external injuries.
 A juvenile, name withheld, 14 years of age, of Duncan, OK. was pronounced deceased at the scene by Survival Flight EMS.
 A female juvenile passenger, name withheld, 17 years of age, of Duncan, OK. was transported by Survival Flight EMS to Duncan Regional and was treated and released with trunk external and head injuries.
 A second passenger, Makiah C. Blackwell. female, 18 years of age, of Duncan, OK. was transported by Survival Flight EMS to Duncan Regional then flown by Survival Flight to OU Medical in Oklahoma City, OK. Treated and released with head injuries.
 A fourth passenger, a juvenile, 14 was pinned and eventually freed by the Bray Fire Department volunteers.
 The cause of the collision and the condition of the driver are under investigation.
 The incident is being investigated by Trooper Ryan Hayes #282 of the Traffic Homicide Unit. Assisted by Trooper Zachary Wright #490, Trooper Darin Carman #552, Trooper Luke Norton #591, Trooper Jake Mackey #694, Survival Flight EMS, Survival Flight, Bray Fire Department, and Stephens County Sheriff’s Department.
