Bray seeks County Commissioner District 3 post

Gary Bray, Rush Springs resident and lifetime citizen of Grady County filed for the position of County Commissioner for District 3.
A press release shows that his Dad was a heavy equipment operator and that he grew up around bulldozers, scrapers, motor graders and he states that he knows the difference between a heavy equipment operator and a driver.
Bray graduated from Chickasha High School, attended USAO and joined the Chickasha Police Department where he served for twenty-three years in the capacity of patrol supervision and Captain. He was transferred to investigations and was Chief of Detectives and Internal Affairs Investigator. He also served at Chief of Police for Rush Springs.
Other life activities was serving six years in the Oklahoma National Guard, oilfield heavy equipment operator and a livestock transportation business. He managed a 4,600 acre ranch for seven years.
Bray says, “The position of County Commissioner entails all facets of county government, working with others on various committees, boards, businesses, and vendors. I have twenty-five years experience within my law enforcement career where I worked with the good, the bad and the ugly; dealing with people’s requests, problems and needs; that is nothing new to me.”
Bray says that one of his main concerns is the Grady County Volunteer Fire Departments. Those departments and volunteers must have the equipment and training in order to keep our homes and property safe.
Under my supervision, the road conditions in District 3 will improve, he states.
“I want the people of Alex, Chickasha, Ninnekah, Rush Springs and all of the rural area of District 3 to know that I will give equal attention to their community needs and concerns,” said Bray.
Gary Bray and his wife Bonita are members of Vimy Ridge Baptist Church.
