Public Transportation in Grady County

 The Washita Valley Community Action Council operates a public transportation company that provides on demand rides in Chickasha on a daily basis and to other towns in Grady County with 48 hour advance notice. In the City of Chickasha, the buses operate between 5 am and 5 pm. The dispatch office takes calls between 8 am and 5pm daily to arrange for pickup and delivery throughout Chickasha. The cost of the ride in Chickasha is $2.50.
 County wide rides are $10.00 round-trip and have to be arranged 48 hours in advance. The county buses operate between 8 am and 5 pm in Alex, Rush Springs Bradley, Minco, Amber, Pocasset, Verden, Ninnekah, and Tuttle.  The Washita Valley Community Action Council is a private non-profit corporation, incorporated in 1968 to serve Grady an Caddo Counties.
