Elsie Marie Base


 Elsie Marie Base was born Friday, October 2, 1931, in Rush Springs, to George Frank and Minnie Marie (Fitzpatrick) Seymour.
Elsie passed away Monday, April 25, 2022, in Lawton at the age of 90.
 Funeral Services were held on Friday, April 29, 2022, at Callaway-Smith-Cobb Chapel in Rush Springs, with Rev. David Hale officiating. Burial was in the Westview Cemetery under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral and Cremation Services in Rush Springs. Online condolences may be made to www.CallawaySmithCobb.com
 Elsie attended Grady County Schools. Elsie lived in Grady County most of her life and she spent her time as a homemaker. She married the love of her life Arthur Lee Base and they spent many wonderful years together until he preceded her in death in 2002.
 She enjoyed ceramics, sewing, cooking, and loved her pet birds. Elsie dearly loved her family, and she enjoyed taking care of her grandkids and spending time with her family. She will be missed by many.
 Survivors include 3 sons, Monty Base and wife Kristie of Lawton, Ronnie Base of Rush Springs, and Arthur Base of Rush Springs, 9 grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
 In addition to her loving husband, Elsie was preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers: Bernis Franklin Seymour, Roy Lee Seymour, and Arthur Jackson Seymour, and sister Lola May Seymour.
