Feeding the Hungry

 The Chickasha Soup Kitchen offers a free nutritious lunch from 11:30 am to 1 pm, Monday through Friday at 520 West Pennsylvania. The kitchen is open to anyone needing a meal. No requirements. Just walk in, be served and enjoy a meal in the dining area or take a meal to go.
 The Kitchen is a operated as a charitable organization with a board overseeing its services. Different churches, different business organizations and volunteers make up the kitchen staff and volunteer their time to prepare and serve a meal. Some of the volunteers include: Gateway to Hope Church; Cross Roads Community Church; Epworth United Methodist Church; Bible Baptist Church; First Assembly of God Church; St Luke’s Episcopal Church; First Christian Church; Ninnekah United Methodist Church; Holy Name Catholic Church; First Church of the Nazarene.
 Clubs and Businesses include: Faithwalkers 4H; Stanley Systems; Mosley Real Estate Inc.; Cottonwood Skilled Nursing and Therapy; Red Hat Ladies; and many Volunteers At Large (those not affiliated with a group). Each take a day to prepare and serve.
