Joan Adams Sehon

 Joan Adams Sehon was born in Stillwater, Oklahoma on July 25, 1932, and became part of the First Family of OSU. She was the second daughter of Arthur Adams and Muriel Adams. She had an older sister Francis, a younger sister Nina and a younger brother Walter.
 A graveside service will be held at 2:00pm, Friday, April 15, 2022, in the Fairlawn Cemetery. There will be no viewing. Service is under the direction of McRay Funeral Home. 
 She graduated from Stillwater High School in 1949, after only three years. During this time she met Ernest E Sehon. He was back from the war and going to school at Oklahoma A&M on the GI Bill. They were married on August 6, 1949.
 Joan and Ernie moved to Chickasha in 1950, where their sons Dwight and Dwain were born. Ernest started his accounting business in 1957, and Joan went to work for Public Service Company at the same time. In 1960, she became the Office Manager for Ernest and remained on the job until 2017, when she retired.
 Joan was a member of the First Baptist Church for over sixty years.
 She is survived by her sister Nina and her husband Miller, brother Walter and wife Diane, sister-in-law Rosie, son Dwight and son Dwain and wife Cheryl. Joan is also survived by 3 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren.
 She was preceded in death by her mother and father, husband Ernest, sister Francis and daughter-in-law Deborah.
